Liz Olear is a New York City based comedian, writer, and show producer specializing in absurd, character-driven comedy. Her work centers on heightened perspectives and the strange logics that govern modern existence. She blends performance art with sharp comedic storytelling across live performance, writing, and audio.

Liz performs regularly throughout New York City and is a member of the sketch team Chimp Cocktail (UCB, Second City, Edinburgh Fringe ‘25) and the band Pretty Polly. She creates original comedy for stage, online, and collaborative projects.

Her work has been featured in Time Out, Office Magazine, Pineapple Street Studios, and Miu Miu’s Tales & Tellers. She is the host of Heads Will Roll with Gigi Burris and the podcast Me & My Real Housewife.
